Lymphatic Care / Postpartum & Breast Health
Fast, gentle relief for breastfeeding breast pain.
Clogged ducts, engorgement, and breast swelling are painful and exhausting — especially with a newborn. Gentle, expert care can bring quick relief and help prevent the next flare-up. Same-week appointments and home visits may be available.
How we help
Care is provided one-on-one by Dr. Carolyn Baek, a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) with specialized training in breast and lymphatic care — gentle, evidence-based techniques chosen for the postpartum body.
More than symptom relief
The goal is relief now and fewer flare-ups later. You’ll leave with self-management strategies you can use at home so a clogged duct or engorgement is less likely to return.
- Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)
- Gentle breast and soft-tissue techniques
- Therapeutic ultrasound where appropriate
- Low-level laser therapy where appropriate
- Cryotherapy where appropriate

Postpartum & breast health FAQs
Can you help with a clogged duct or engorgement quickly?
Yes — gentle MLD and soft-tissue techniques for relief, plus prevention strategies. Same-week and home visits may be available.
Do you offer home visits?
Where appropriate, yes. Call or text (914) 573-4780 to ask.
How many visits are usually needed?
Often just one or a few — the aim is fast relief plus prevention, not endless visits.
Is this a replacement for a lactation consultant?
No — we complement lactation care by treating the physical side of breast pain and swelling.
Do you take insurance?
We’re out-of-network and cash-based. You pay at the time of service and receive a superbill you can submit to your insurer for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
Please note: this support does not replace lactation consulting or medical care. Urgent symptoms — such as fever, spreading redness, or signs of mastitis — should be evaluated promptly by your physician.
Relief can’t wait — and it doesn’t have to
