Why chronic and complex conditions need ongoing support

Lymphatic conditions are usually managed, not cured. The goal is to reduce swelling, protect your tissue and skin, and give you the tools to keep symptoms under control for the long term — with check-ins when you need them, not endless appointments.

Good lymphatic care brings together education, hands-on treatment, the right compression, a realistic home program, and follow-up over time. We coordinate all of it so you’re never piecing it together alone.

More than treatment — real, practical support

This is medical lymphatic care from a Doctor of Physical Therapy, not spa-style lymphatic massage.

  • Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT) and Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)
  • Compression garment measurement, fitting, and ordering help
  • Concierge support with paperwork, compression pumps, and supplies
  • Education and home programs so you can self-manage with confidence
  • Familiarity with post-operative courses from surgeons across the country
  • Maintenance visits and remote follow-up where appropriate

What to expect

  1. Evaluation. A thorough assessment and measurements, with time to understand your history and goals.
  2. Hands-on care. MLD, compression, and manual techniques tailored to your condition.
  3. Education. Clear explanations and skills you can use at home.
  4. Home plan. A personalized routine for skin care, movement, and garment use.
  5. Follow-up. Maintenance and remote check-ins so progress holds.

Virtual and ongoing support

Some of lymphatic care is hands-on; much of it is coaching and adjustment over time. When it’s appropriate — including for patients who travel for surgery — we offer virtual visits and remote follow-up so you can stay supported between in-person appointments.

Prepare. Recover. Maintain.

Lymphatic surgery recovery

Surgery is a major investment. Starting care before your procedure — and continuing it afterward — helps protect your result.

Prepare

Baseline measurements, swelling management, a compression strategy, and pre-op mobility and home-exercise planning — coordinated with your surgeon where appropriate.

Recover

Post-operative recovery planning, swelling and scar management, a graded return to activity, compression reassessment, and remote monitoring where appropriate.

Maintain

Garment re-fitting over time, maintenance visits, and a long-term home program so your results last.

Procedures we commonly support include SAPL, MITESE, LVA, LVB, VLNT, immediate lymph node transfer, and lipedema reduction surgery. We support your recovery and follow your surgeon’s protocol; we do not provide surgery or guarantee surgical outcomes.

Recovery deserves a plan

Plastic & reconstructive surgery recovery

Specialized recovery support — not a spa lymphatic massage. Care can include Manual Lymphatic Drainage, swelling reduction, scar-tissue management, compression guidance, mobility and postural work, and a safe, progressive return to exercise.

Commonly supported procedures: tummy tuck, liposuction, DIEP flap, implant reconstruction, breast reduction, breast lift, facial procedures, eyelid surgery, rhinoplasty, body contouring, and revisions. We don’t promise cosmetic results — we help you recover comfortably and protect your investment.

Lymphatic care questions

Is lymphatic therapy the same as a spa lymphatic massage?

No. This is medical care from a Doctor of Physical Therapy who is a Certified Lymphedema Therapist — combining Manual Lymphatic Drainage with evaluation, compression management, exercise, and a long-term plan, not a one-time relaxation massage.

Do you help with compression garments and paperwork?

Yes — we measure and fit garments, help with ordering, and provide concierge support with paperwork, compression pumps, and supplies.

How do I know if I have lymphedema or lipedema?

They can look alike but are different. A one-on-one evaluation clarifies which you have and the right plan. See Lymphedema and Lipedema.

Do you offer virtual or remote follow-up?

Yes, where appropriate — including for patients who travel for surgery and need support between in-person visits.
