About
Meet Dr. Carolyn Baek, DPT, CLT, OCS
A Doctor of Physical Therapy who believes people heal faster when they have a clear plan and a clinician who truly knows them.

My philosophy: a roadmap, not just treatment
Most people don’t just need treatment — they need someone to make sense of an overwhelming situation and show them the way forward. So before we begin, I make sure you understand what’s happening, what to expect, and exactly what to do next. Clarity is where healing starts.
How I care for patients
- One-on-one with a Doctor of PT — never aides, students, or assistants
- Education so you understand and own your recovery
- Real-time corrections on movement, alignment, and exercise
- Collaboration with your surgeons and care team
- Long-term planning, with virtual follow-up where appropriate
Why I do this work
I founded Baek Physical Therapy & Wellness to deliver the kind of care I believe everyone deserves: unhurried, expert, and genuinely personal — never passed off to an aide. As a competitive tennis player, I know firsthand what it means to want your body back. And after years alongside people navigating cancer, surgery, and chronic swelling, I’ve seen how much a steady, knowledgeable guide changes the experience. My mission is simple: to help you get more healthy, active years out of every decade of life.
